- What's your best piece of advice for new clients?
Don’t think about your sessions as being just about making yourself do some exercise. Enjoy them as being a great way to make some time for YOU - to improve your general well being , to reduce your stress levels & enjoy yourself doing something different!
- Why did you choose Drive PT?
I was impressed with Drive’s all round approach to fitness . Drive don’t just give you guidance on exercising during your sessions-they help you adopt ways to become fitter in your everyday life, how to eat more healthly & reduce your stress levels. It really is a 360 degrees approach to well being.
- How did you feel before your first session?
My job & my 4 year old are both very demanding ! I have to do a lot of travel which I found tiring . I also often found it difficult to fit in an exercise session & to know how to make the right choices when I was eating out with clients at business lunches & dinners.
- And how do you feel now?
I feel much more positive about exercise & my diet. I now know what kind of training really makes the difference for me & how to fit it into my lifestyle. I really look forward to the sessions as being a enjoyable way to develop further . Drive are really flexible so I know I can fit in a seesion with Matt when it suits me –be it early morning or late at night.
- What's the best part of training?
Definitely the fact that the training & feedback are very personally directed to your own unique position & performance so that you know you are making the most of the time you spend exercising. The sessions are great fun too-particularly the boxing!!
- And what's the worst part?
Turkish get ups –a favorite exercise of Matt’s which is best not described here!! Seriously I always enjoy the sessions . It is a great feeling to know that you have used the sessions to exercise at your optimum level & that you come away with some tips & challenges to incorporate into your personal fitness programme.
- What results have you had to date?
I have found that my general energy levels are much increased. I feel fitter & more able to cope with the demands of my job . I am much more confident that the time I spend exercising really does produce positive results in terms of weight management & refining body shape . Moreover , on holiday this year the prospect of wearing a bikini didn’t seem quite so daunting as in previous years!!
